“The Wheel of Fortune”
"The Wheel of Fortune" was completed on 29 November 2024. With so many details, this was slow-going and meticulous work. It reminded me of one of those large wheels from a game show you spin to win (hopefully).
It can be viewed horizontally or (as below) vertically (which was mostly the way I looked at it while working on it).
In laying out the design I used the idea of the Rule of Thirds (as in photography) to locate the point at the center of the axis to draw the eye in.
