"Ice Breaker" or "Birth of the Black Hole"

I completed this Artwork; “Ice Breaker” or “Birth of the Black Hole”, yesterday; another abstract piece that came from the imagination…. I wonder where these ideas come from! I started drawing these shapes inside a large circle (about 28 cm in diameter) and it developed from there. The idea of ice seemed to my mind evident, and then the ice started breaking up into ever tinier pieces. The idea of an Iris at the center of the circle came to mind; this is “the Black Hole”. Perhaps the Universe is a gigantic Eye. I divided the circle into 4 tiers or layers and began to add texture; hundreds of tiny circles and then thousands of dots… The outer circle (or is it a globe?) at the right edge of the drawing is for you to think about…. Is it a satellite that has just impacted and caused the sheet of ice to shatter, or was all of it just being sucked in by the black hole? Or is the white circle (a small sun?) just a part of the “timeline” after the impact..? In any case, everything seems to be getting pulled into that mysterious black center! What do you think? It is a winter story.
