"Mirrors and Noodles"

 

This spontaneous abstract drawing, “Mirrors and Noodles”, has a peculiar name that popped into my head! This drawing follows similar ideas used in my "Construction Feminine" (pictured below); here though, I was aiming at a more significant “simplicity”, especially after the complications in drawings such as the "Ice Breaker or Birth of the Black Hole" or "Star of David Mandala with Celtic Elements".

The “Mirrors and Noodles” contains straight, angular, architectural lines (unlike the curvy, suggestive lines found in Construction Feminine"), that form various planes or perspectives compared with the more rounded, free-flowing lines found in "Construction Feminine" (below). The multiple patterns (partly used in the drawing below) are here “mirrored” and the squiggly lines are the “noodles”.

So what’s next…? Perhaps something more “complicated”…?
